As the contract dispute between Kylian Mbappé and Paris Saint-Germain persists, he will be excluded from training alongside the club’s main first-team group. Following PSG’s tour in Japan and South Korea, they resume training at their base on Monday, but he will instead train with the ‘loft’ group.
Mbappé’s Training Exile
Despite PSG sources maintaining that he has agreed to a free transfer to Real Madrid, the forward’s management has rejected a contract offer from PSG containing a guaranteed sale clause. This clause would allow him to join another club next summer for a fee.
Mbappé declined to meet with Al-Hilal representatives, who had flown to Paris after making a £259m bid. PSG’s Ligue 1 campaign begins against Lorient on Saturday.
