MOSTI, PETRA Join Forces to Explore Nuclear Energy in Malaysia
With backing from the 13th Malaysia Plan (13MP), six task forces have been formed to advance nuclear readiness through policy, technology, and talent development. Minister Chang Lih Kang said nuclear energy aligns with national goals of energy security and carbon reduction.
MOSTI is also spearheading efforts in rare earth development and broader science, technology, and innovation (STI) initiatives to support Malaysia’s vision of becoming a high-tech economy.
