A mother, known as Kekfa on X, revealed that her child’s school canteen charges RM3 for a pint-sized portion of plain fried noodles, lacking any protein. Although her child brings food from home, she expressed concern for other students and their parents, calling the portion overpriced. She also criticized the RM5 nasi lemak, which includes minimal sambal, rice, and a few popcorn chicken pieces. Other parents echoed her frustration, urging her to report the issue to school authorities. Some noted that while small portions suit children, the prices should match the servings, especially when no protein is included.
