KLANG – A tragic accident in Jalan Raya Barat today claimed the life of a motorcyclist after being struck by a car driven under the influence of alcohol and drugs. The incident occurred at about 11.40am when the victim, a man in his 30s, was thrown into the air and landed on another vehicle, dying at the scene.

Klang Selatan district police chief Assistant Commissioner Lim Jit Huey said initial investigations revealed the Honda City, driven by a local man in his 20s, was speeding and driving dangerously. The suspect tested positive for alcohol and drugs following a urine screening.
