Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman’s conviction has cast a shadow on MUDA’s future, tarnishing both his reputation and the party’s anti-corruption stance. Bleak Future for MUDA?
The party is now in the hands of Amira Aisya Abdul Aziz. Some see her as even more controversial than Syed Saddiq, as in refusing to accept the reality of the party. They lost all their deposit in the state elections, one where the plan was to divide the votes for the PH. Big test then for both MUDA and the de-facto leader Amira with the party elections coming soon.
