Mydin superstore is selling chicken below the controlled price of RM9.40 a kilo, with savings of RM.1.10 a kilo for its customers. In a video story, the Mydin boss Ameer Ali Mydin narrates how the price of chicken at his stores is cheaper.
Chicken Price
“Korang tunggu apa lagi? Pakat mai lah ke MYDIN!,” the Facebook post says, after announcing the price reduction. Mydin also says do not listen to the rumours or believe all that is said online about chicken prices.
He also announces that not only chicken prices are down, but that of other products and assures customers that goods from his wet market will not go up in price, as rumoured on the internet. He says the prices of goods are down since the USD is also down compared to the Ringgit.
