KUALA LUMPUR, March 4 — The High Court heard testimony that Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak actively controlled SRC International Sdn Bhd, either directly or via its former CEO, Nik Faisal Ariff Kamil. Former SRC director Datuk Shahrol Azral Ibrahim Halmi said Nik Faisal acted as Najib’s proxy, relaying instructions and ensuring board compliance.

He tabled proposals, followed up on projects, and kept Najib informed of all decisions. Shahrol added that directors were compelled to implement Najib’s directives, confirmed in shareholder meeting minutes signed by Najib. The RM42 million civil suit was filed against Najib by SRC and Gandingan Mentari.
