Najib is still talking of Saudi King. But the King’s name is not on any docs

Najib Razak insisted that the late Saudi Ruler King Abdullah promised to give him financial aid and political donations. He denied that it was Low Taek Jho — now a wanted fugitive — who had told him about the purported promise. While JL is not here and is not available at all to tell his side of the story, it appears there are no records at all of the King’s promises to Najib.

The High Court was told on Thursday that the letter allegedly received by Najib regarding a donation from the late Saudi King, King Abdullah, did not mention the king’s name at all. Instead, the letterhead only carried the name of an individual purported to be a member of the Saudi royal family. Najib said he can distinguish the truth from a lie.
