Netizens say that Perikatan Nasional may even take advantage of the situation citing that this could be their new bullet point in attacking the unity government. An X user states that our PMX will have to buckle up for the next General Election in order to appease his voters.
Many reformasi era supporters of our PMX have shown their disapproval towards this move. This is one of the current government’s core supporters, and if they too aren’t pleased, it will most definitely be a difficult GE 16 for the government when the time comes.
