Negri Sembilan Bersatu has reaffirmed its support for Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin to continue leading the party and Perikatan Nasional into GE16. State chief Hanifah Abu Baker said Muhyiddin remains a symbol of stability, integrity, and experience. This comes after Port Dickson Bersatu proposed a power transition, suggesting deputy president Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainuddin take over presidential duties to strengthen opposition leadership, while Muhyiddin becomes party adviser. Hanifah emphasised loyalty and unity, stressing it is Bersatu’s collective responsibility to defend Muhyiddin’s leadership. The state liaison committee vowed to continue strengthening party machinery to represent the people effectively.
