Netizens Defend “Privileged” SPM Students Citing that Hard Work Should be Applauded, Poor or Rich

Apparently, an X user made a controversial statement citing that SPM students who are living in a comfortable setting, privileged enough to be affording private tuition, it is “easier” for them to achieve straight As. But, it seems that social media users disagree with this. 

Netizens defend “privileged” SPM students citing hard work should be applauded

An X user states that they come from humble backgrounds but all of her siblings managed to achieve good results in school. She adds that if a “privileged” student were to get all of these perks, it is not guaranteed they’ll get straight As. The effort from the students themselves matters. 

Another user adds that if an individual is not too bright and is lazy, the end result would be just the same.
