Starbucks has been boycotted immensely in lieu of the unfortunate situation that is currently happening. Netizens are defending the coffee house as they are not on the official BDS boycott list. The same thing happened with KFC and many are shocked to know that as well.
Starbucks defended by netizens
An X user states that those who have previously boycotted in lieu of the prices should not attack others for purchasing items from these stores. They state that attacking customers by throwing harsh remarks towards them on social media is rather unkind and will not help anyone.
Following that, users state that the movement has been highly selective as other services such as Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp are of a similar background to these companies. Many find it ironic that some companies are boycotted while others aren’t.
