Netizens Now Poke Fun at Council for Car-Parking Fines in Pasir Gudang

1 min read

Some believe the Pasir Gudang Council is not right in its enforcement of various laws and regulations banning house owners from parking their cars in front of their houses. They argue that Malaysia is built as a car-dependent nation hence many people have more than one car. Nevertheless, there is also the ETERNAL problem of a lack of parking space.

As you can read above, some are asking the right questions, like what is the solution provided for citizens since they risk jail and fines? No solutions were given in the news reports about the decision by the council to fine people.

But there are also genuine complaints about cars parked in housing areas: Atsuran Zara@AtsuranZara: “Jiran aku, 4 org bujang kongsi sewa rumah. Sorang tu ada 2 kereta. Yg lain tu ada 1 kereta + 1 motor. Car porch parking 3 motor. All 4 cars suma parking depan rumah. Mmg mengganggu. Gate aku ada masa xle buka betul2 sbb dia org ni parking “terlebih sikit” dpn rumah aku. Camne ni?” – (Editor’s Note: Takde siapa boleh jawab? while netizens poke fun}
