Nearly a million commuters rely on trains daily to travel between work and school across the Klang Valley. However, a major service disruption yesterday left many stranded at key stations, sparking frustration online. Netizens voiced their dissatisfaction, calling for better contingency planning and more transparent communication from transit authorities.
Netizens unhappy with disruptions
X users made bold suggestions saying heavy compensation should be given to the commuters. The user suggested a RM100 grocery voucher should be used as compensation. The incident happened during the evening rush-hour and some were eager to go home either to unwind, or to continue on with their work.
Others state the delay slip should be something that corporate companies accept as it is not the employee’s fault if they’re delayed in lieu of this. Such delays can happen during the morning rush-hour as well.
