Kuala Lumpur: The NGO@Makerthon will select 20 NGOs in Malaysia to be matched with selected PPR communities. Applications for NGO@Makerthon will close on July 31.

To apply to the programme, interested applicants must be part of an active, established NGO in Malaysia. They must have at least one year of experience providing impact to communities in the country.

All participating NGOs will embark on four phases of the programme to gain a comprehensive overview of the engagement.

The NGO@Makerthon is a programme for non-governmental organisations in Malaysia, hosted in collaboration with Yayasan Inovasi Malaysia, SME Corp Malaysia, Biji-biji Initiative and Me.reka.

A minimum of two members from the NGO is also required to participate in the entirety of the programme, including the 4-week virtual training, the 2-month mentorship, the prototyping phase and the finale.
