Obama Warns Upon Trump’s Decisions
The finding, introduced during Obama’s administration, concluded that greenhouse gases pose a threat to public health and welfare by driving climate change. Writing on X, Obama said eliminating it would weaken the nation’s ability to fight climate change, while benefiting the fossil fuel industry.
He stressed that without this foundation, environmental protections would be undermined, exposing communities to greater risks from pollution, extreme weather, and long-term climate impacts.
