SHAH ALAM, Oct 6— PAS vice-president Datuk Idris Ahmad said Perak DAP must realise it cannot form a state government without Malay support. He described DAP’s use of the term “green wave” as an attempt to instil fear among voters. Idris noted that DAP’s 18 state seats were already its maximum, as all are in non-Malay majority areas.

He said it was impossible for DAP to gain the 12 additional Malay-majority seats needed to govern. Responding to Perak DAP chairman Nga Kor Ming’s recent remarks, Idris added that voters now see through political rhetoric and understand who truly serves national interests. He vowed that PAS and Perikatan Nasional would prevent DAP from returning to power. — Sinar Harian
