PAS has denied claims that it plans to leave Perikatan Nasional, saying the matter was not discussed during its three-day retreat in Bangi. Party president Abdul Hadi Awang said PAS remains committed to keeping the coalition united, a position echoed by secretary-general Takiyuddin Hassan, who stressed that all four PN component parties continue to work together.

PAS leaders also dismissed allegations of efforts to sideline Bersatu president Muhyiddin Yassin, saying the retreat focused on internal party strengthening and coalition unity. Speculation had intensified following calls by PAS spiritual leader Hashim Jasin to consider going solo and Hadi’s absence from a recent PN leaders’ meeting.
