The Department of Wildlife and National Parks (Perhilitan) in Terengganu successfully captured a wild male elephant near Kampung Payong, Sungai Tong, on Thursday afternoon. According to Perhilitan director Loo Kean Seong, the adult elephant was caught near a rubber plantation after villagers reported its presence earlier that day. This marks the first elephant capture in Terengganu this year. The animal will soon be relocated to its natural habitat to ensure its well-being.
