PKNS Donates RM1 Million to Aid Putra Heights Fire Victims

Kumpulan Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Selangor (PKNS) has donated RM1 million to the Selangor Prihatin Fund to support victims of the recent gas pipeline fire in Putra Heights, Subang Jaya. The donation, presented by PKNS CEO Datuk Mahmud Abbas, aims to assist affected families by covering essentials, cleanup, and reconstruction efforts.

The fire, which occurred on April 1, damaged 219 homes. PKNS expressed solidarity with victims and appreciation for first responders. The Selangor government has raised RM4.74 million to date. PKNS also encouraged private companies, NGOs, and individuals to contribute to further support recovery and rebuilding efforts.
