Minister of Economy Rafizi Ramli in a video on X tries to explain what the Madani Budget is about while he chides the PN-PAS opposition for not debating about the facts, but talking about Anwar Ibrahim’s gaji and the words that Anwar used during the Budget speech, such as ketimbang which became a focus point for an opposition MP. We did report how the MP made fun of the word, which is a Bahasa Indonesia word apparently, saying it means kecing, tipu and sembang. In the meantime, Rafizi informed the public that PKR ministers are taking a 40% salary cut while they have to also cut a percentage that goes to the party.
