The Perikatan Nasional and the BN have been in power together in an uneasy alliance for more than two years, since February 2020. This uneasy alliance resulted in the elections on November 19 and the devastating loss for the BN.
The two years were characterised by instability, an economic downturn, inflationary pressures, and constant price increases, as well as a bloated cabinet of 70 ministers, not one of whom, was unable to offer a suitable solution for addressing the cost of chicken and eggs.
PN-BN Means Instability
Should the country revert to a new PN-BN coalition in power with Hishamuddin as PM? Or will another cabinet of 70 men and women show how difficult it is to control the price of eggs? It also means constant fighting and PN-BN means instability.
