A netizen posted on Twitter that a man sadly lost his life after being shot while he was in his car. It was alleged that the hitmen did not know if the man was alone or with his family and proceeded to shoot 8 shots all over his white Vellfire.
Some netizens were asking if he had passed away due to the shots. Others replied sarcastically that he just ‘rested’ on the ground. However, jokes like these are quite tasteless for such a gruesome case like this. The victim was wanted by SOSMA, which is the Security Offences (Special Measures) Act 2012.
It is noted by other netizens that if someone is wanted by SOSMA, they could possibly be at risk of disturbing the peace of our country. It was reported that the man was wanted for drugs. Others mentioned that the reason why there are a lot of gunshots is due to the hitmen not wanting to leave witnesses to the shooting.
