Many find this ridiculous as it is just a simple hair tie. Previously, these houses used to sell novelty items such as this at around RM300-500 which is still expensive.

Prada has been a hit or miss brand, simply due to their major price increase. Furthermore, their outlet prices have also increased drastically. Netizens state that the fabric used to make this scrunchie needs to be from the finest gold thread fabrics in order for them to justify such a price.
Furthermore, their prices are seemingly more expensive than other high end houses like Gucci and Dior. Some of these other brands offer quirky items that are limited edition or unique for a higher price though.
