JOHOR BARU – A 26-year-old pregnant woman suffered a miscarriage after her motorcycle crashed into a car on Jalan Masai Kong Kong at 9.27pm on Feb 14. Police said the car, driven by a 40-year-old man, suddenly changed lanes, causing the victim to collide with its rear.
Woman Miscarried
She sustained internal injuries and was rushed to Hospital Sultan Ismail, where emergency surgery was performed but her baby could not be saved. The driver was unhurt, tested negative for drugs and alcohol, and has been detained. The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
