However, a netizen observed that elderly sellers in these bazaars are losing out as they are operating their business on a cash only basis.

Netizens state that they do not even bring their wallets on short errands. To most, going to night markets and bazaars are a quick hop on and off. An X user is advising those who have elderly relatives to encourage them to adopt this new system.
Others state that these QR codes can open a wide door to scams. Elderly sellers may get duped by their customers who would not pay properly or would purposefully not pay via the code.
