A Tweet that sparked outrage recently was about an employer informing that if anyone is late for 1 minute, they will be forced to work overtime for 10 minutes at the end of the day. A Twitter user said that if this happens at your workplace, it’s time to quit.
One of the responses was that if you started 1 minute early, you should end work 10 minutes early. Many supported that statement. Another user joked that if you started 48 minutes early, you should have the whole day off, which considering the unfair rules set by the office seems fair.
‘The next time your boss tells you to work as a team, start a union’. A phrase that many support as they are tired of this kind of nonsense. ‘If you call me after work, every minute spent will be deducted from my working hours’, this is commonly felt with everyone in the workforce as being disturbed after hours is a common occurrence.
