Outgoing Economy Minister Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli has reaffirmed his decision to decline appointed posts in PKR, including a second deputy president role offered by Nurul Izzah Anwar. Speaking to The Star, Rafizi, who lost the PKR deputy presidency to Nurul Izzah on May 23, emphasized his focus on serving as Pandan MP and PKR division chief. He dismissed speculations about forming a new party, noting it would violate anti-hopping laws, risking his parliamentary seat. Rafizi also declined to share future plans, stating strategic discussions with the media are unwise.
