SHAH ALAM: Pandan MP Rafizi Ramli has claimed the NexG controversy is more than a corporate tussle, stressing it involves strategic national interests. He said many view the matter as a business dispute between Victor Chin and share acquisitions, but the reality is deeper.

“Victor Chin is not an outsider. Professionally, he is known for raising funds, structuring shareholdings, acquiring companies, and boosting their value. He is part of an ecosystem that has long existed,” Rafizi said. He added NexG’s role in handling MyKad, passports, foreign worker documents and official IDs makes it a strategic national asset.
