However, a TikToker went viral after refusing to use her sandals in Venice after the area was flooded.

The TikToker wrote “save the Hermes” then she proceeds to show that she was walking through the Venetian flood with the sandals in her hand. There were mixed reviews when it comes to this video as some users agree with her, while others vehemently disagreed with her.
Users also state that they would rather save their feet from the dirt and germs and actually wear these shows. Others questioned her decision on wearing the Hermes Oran sandals in Venice as they felt it was not made to walk there.
