Quality issues among luxury brands are allegedly increasing. Commenters state that Chanel is allegedly one of the worst hit in lieu of this problem. Apparently multiple TikTokers were upset after they found out their designer slippers that costs RM4,000 has some quality issues related to the soles.
Chanel slippers falling apart
TikTokers state that DHGate (the alleged black market platform where all the fake designer goods are sold), would never have such quality issues. Sadly, a number of fashion lovers have made comparisons citing that the fake goods today are supposedly better than the original products that costs thousands of Ringgit.
Luxury experts like SuperDacob on YouTube states that sometimes these brands would request a 6 month period to fix these technical flaws.
There are claims that some sales associates would advise customers to just glue back the parts that are falling apart. For the price that is paid, it sounds practically preposterous for the customer to fix it themselves.
