Petrol Stations SELLING Ron 95 Petrol to Singaporean Cars May Now Get FINED RM1 MILLION

1 min read

There have been a lot of discussions regarding Singaporean drivers using Ron 95 petrol, which is subsidized strictly for Malaysian cars. Netizens on X have been calling out foreign cars using our subsidized petrol and for the most part, are ignored. However, it seems that a new fine is in place directed to these petrol stations.

Ron 95 sold to Singaporean cars may lead petrol stations to get fined RM1 million

However, netizens still do not believe that any strict enforcements would be in place despite having this new rule. Furthermore, foreign cars that were to buy these subsidized petrol may not get much punishment.

Others suggest that the government should reward those who are able to identify any foreign vehicles using these subsidized petrol. Some users state that those who managed to identify them should get a reward of RM1,000. Others state that a certain amount of free petrol sounds like a good idea too.
