36 visitors experienced a moment of anxiety when they were trapped for an hour in the rotating gyro-type platform of the Taming Sari Tower in Bandar Hilir, Melaka, at a height of 60 meters while descending.

Taming Sari Tower
The 110-meter Taming Sari Tower allows visitors to enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of Melaka City. The Melaka Fire and Rescue Department received an emergency call at 5:58 p.m. and arrived at the scene seven minutes later. All visitors were safely evacuated without any injuries.
Rotating Gyro-type Platform Stuck
The incident was caused by a mechanical problem, and a support motor was used to lower the platform.
