During a national leader’s official visit, there are two goals that the people hope for the country, according to Mohd Sany Hamzan. Firstly, investments brought in from the visited country can create more job opportunities for the country.
He mentioned that during Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s recent official visit to Saudi Arabia, this goal was achieved based on the meeting held at the time. Secondly, building good relationships with the visited country is crucial for the country and its people.
Netizens react to Sany’s statement
Netizens are saying that MPs screaming at eachother like children in parliament is also not beneficial to the public. Furthermore, others state that Mahatir and Najib Razak, both former Prime Ministers, have entered the Kaaba. There were jabs against Mohd Sany for his statement as he seems to be defending the PM a little too much.
Other netizens cite that previous corrupt officials entering the Kaaba have done nothing beneficial for the country. There is no saying that entering the sacred place will give any benefits to anyone.
Some are even stating that PN and PAS are ruining the image of Islam by making weird statements. There were some jokes about Najib and Muhyiddin along with their involvements with the holy site and that it was just a facade for them to look good infront of the people.
