Speaking at the CENTEXS convocation, he highlighted AirBorneo’s role in connecting Sarawak with the outside world. The Sarawak government formalized the acquisition of MASwings, renaming it AirBorneo.
The airline will initially serve Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, and Jakarta, expanding to Japan, South Korea, and Hong Kong to enhance connectivity and attract visitors. AirBorneo is vital for Sarawak’s accessibility and economic growth.
