Saudi Arabia warns of misuse of tourist visas
Datuk Seri Syed Salleh Syed Abdul Rahman from Lembaga Tabung Haji urged Malaysians to respect regulations. While Umrah can be done with tourist visas, Hajj requires a specific visa. The Saudi government tightened measures to prevent misuse, imposing hefty fines and jail time for violators.
Syed Salleh advised those with tourist visas to leave Saudi promptly. The nation must uphold integrity and respect international regulations to preserve its standing.
