However, there have been numerous problems happening over the last few weeks with the alleged quality control issues with these pins. Now, it seems that a child appears to be injured by one.

Student allegedly injured by mandatory Jalur Gemilang pin
An X user posted the photo of a student’s foot that appears to have the pin stuck to the bottom of her feet. Furthermore, it seems that urgent medical care was needed for the whole ordeal. Netizens added that they expected for something terrible like this to happen.
Others re-quoted the comments prior to this saying that the students are receiving these pins for free and they should just wear them.
