There are netizens questioning the fact that this issue has not been solved for years now. About November last year, relatively the same thing happened to Shah Alam. It is obvious at this point that the Klang Valley needs proper and stronger drainage systems, similar to those found in Singapore.
Netizens also state that the local authorities should deal with this matter with the best urgency they have. The duration of the flood may be short, but its implications to those getting the shorter end of the stick is damaging.
