An employee at a 7-Eleven store in Malaysia was caught using a mop to clean a microwave oven. The incident sparked outrage on social media, with the photos being viewed over 2.2 million times and 14,000 retweets within four days.
The employee has since been suspended and the store underwent a thorough cleaning and sanitization process. 7-Eleven Malaysia issued an apology, stating that the employee’s actions were a violation of their strict sanitation protocols and does not reflect their high standards.
