YAN: An offhand remark about wanting to “sleep forever” has taken on tragic meaning after 18-year-old Siti Nur Zulaikha Muhammad Shukor and her brother, Luqman Norais, 19, were killed in a motorcycle accident on the North-South Expressway near Sungai Muda, Penang.
Siblings Die
The siblings were travelling from their home in Teroi, Yan, to their dormitory at Kolej Vokasional Nibong Tebal when their motorcycle reportedly struck the rear of a vehicle at about 4pm. Zulaikha died at the scene, while Luqman was pronounced dead at Hospital Kepala Batas. Both were students at the same vocational college. – Photo: NST
