Spurs Now Fined and Handed Suspended Ban Over Fans’ Nazi Salutes

UEFA has fined Tottenham Hotspur €30,000 and issued a suspended one-year ban on selling away tickets after three supporters made Nazi salutes towards Eintracht Frankfurt fans. The incident happened during Spurs’ 2-0 Champions League victory at Deutsche Bank Park on January 28. UEFA cited the “racist and/or discriminatory behaviour” of the fans.

Additionally, Spurs were fined €2,250 for objects thrown by supporters. The club strongly condemned the “utterly abhorrent” conduct, confirming that the three individuals have been identified and handed indefinite bans. Spurs reiterated their firm stance against all forms of discrimination, distancing the club from such behavior.
