Singapore Adds $900m under Jobs Support Scheme

Approximately 570,000 employees will be covered by an additional Singapore $900 million under the jobs support scheme the Ministry of Finance says. 

The scheme takes effect from September 30 and will be in the form of JSS payouts throughout 570,000 local employees.

Employers who have made mandatory CPF contributions for their local employees for the months of April to July 2021 will qualify for the payouts that will cover wages from April to July 2021 and also include the enhanced JSS payout during the Phase 2 and Phase 3 periods.
