Bazaar Ramadan Prices Going “Crazy”
Netizens say that in Malaysia we’re getting the opposite of gentrification as a lot of businesses cater to the locals. The bigger conglomerates that are either local or foreign, are seemingly offering a price correction to markets such as this.
There are whispers that a local small business owner may sell drinks for RM10+ while Zus may sell them for RM3+. The conversations have been similar over the last few years where such marketspace are crowded with alleged overpriced food/drinks without the quality to reflect the price.
