Singapore Shock: Don’t Get Caught Naked In Your Hotel Room

1 min read

Hey, hey, hey! If you’re thinking of stripping down to your birthday suit in your hotel room in Singapore, you might wanna think twice before doing so. According to a UK news portal, if someone complains about your nakedness, you can be fined S$2,000 (RM6,649) or locked up for three months.

Yikes! That’s because nudity is considered “obscene behavior” under the Miscellaneous Offenses (Public Order and Disturbance) Act, or MOPONA in Singapore.

So, if you want to roam around your hotel room butt-naked, make sure to close those curtains tight! And don’t forget, Singapore doesn’t mess around when it comes to enforcing their laws.
