Site Supervisor Denies RM2 Million Land Fraud Charges

A site supervisor, Law Tuan Hai, 62, pleaded not guilty at the Ayer Keroh Sessions Court to charges of cheating in a RM2 million land purchase deal in 2023. He allegedly misled Chong Kah Khen, 54, into believing he owned the land, prompting payments into his account.

Site Supervisor Denies RM2 Million Land Fraud Charges

Charged under Section 420 of the Penal Code, Law faces up to 10 years’ imprisonment, whipping, and a fine if convicted. Judge Rohatul Akmar Abdullah granted RM30,000 bail with conditions. The prosecution was led by Deputy Public Prosecutor Muhammad Nazrin Ali Rahim, while Law was represented by lawyer Low Huey Theng.
