SHAH ALAM, June 1 – UMNO Youth chief Dr Muhamad Akmal Saleh has challenged DAP vice-chairman Syahredzan Johan to propose removing Barisan Nasional (BN) entirely from the Unity Government. This follows Bangi MPs call to expel MCA for allegedly attacking the Madani Government with inaccurate claims. Akmal stressed BN joined the government as a united front, including MCA, and dared the DAP MP to act. Syahredzan had criticized MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong for questioning the LPG subsidy removal, a decision made under a previous administration involving Wee. The dispute highlights ongoing tensions within the Unity Government.
