A Thai maid inherits approximately THB100 million or RM12.8 million from her French employer, who was found dead in Koh Samui. Catherine Delacote, 59, allegedly committed suicide, leaving assets to Nutwalai Phupongta, her maid of 17 years.

The inheritance includes a villa, land, cash, and a car. Delacote, battling cancer, was found dead with a gunshot wound. Messages sent before her death indicate her intention to leave her assets to Nutwalai.

However, legal issues arise as the villa was built with Thai proxies. Authorities are investigating if Nutwalai can inherit the assets immediately.
