JOHOR BAHRU – Police have arrested a sixth suspect in connection with the murder of a man in Southkey on March 14, bringing the total number of arrests to six. Johor deputy police chief DCP Hoo Chuan Huat said the latest suspect, a 30-year-old foreign man, was detained in Singapore through cooperation with authorities there. He will be remanded tomorrow.

Earlier, five suspects – four men and a woman – were arrested, with remand extensions sought. The victim, a 32-year-old foreign man, was attacked with sharp weapons and later died at Sultan Ismail Hospital. Investigations into the motive continue.
