That 134.8km ride in 5 hours from S’pore to Batu Pahat

1 min read

With the opening of the JB-Singapore border, Mars Ong, 40, travelled little more than four hours on his bike, covering a distance of 134.8 kilometres straight to his hometown of Batu Pahat.

Ong posted about his travels on the Singapore-Malaysia VTL travel exchange zone (VTL) Facebook page on April 1.

In a caption of his photo, he joked that gas prices had gotten “extremely costly,” so he chose to pedal all the way up to Batu Pahat to save money on gas and mentioned that cycling into Malaysia felt how it did before Covid. @LatestMalaysia
