SEGAMAT — Three people were killed instantly in a collision involving a van, a trailer, and a lorry at KM212 Jalan Johor Baru–Seremban on Thursday afternoon. Segamat OCPD Supt Jumazanzahir Chek Ismail said the accident occurred at 3.45pm when a trailer struck the rear of a van entering a junction, causing it to skid into the opposite lane and collide with a lorry.

The 70‑year‑old van driver and two passengers died at the scene, while two others were injured and treated at a nearby hospital. Both the trailer and lorry drivers escaped unharmed.
